The

and David Chesney. He then went through life just like most Americans,
playing football, going to high school and graduating. However, his life
took a different turn when on one Christmas evening he was given an
acoustic guitar. Chesney was so taken up by the gift that he started to
teach himself the guitar and found at soon that he was a natural. His
earlier attempt to playing the guitar was at the age of 5 and he quit
because his fingers used to hurt.
His
new found talent was then used to make some money, as he started
playing at some bars and pubs around his town and then soon started
making attempts to meet and impress music publishers.
Kenny
Chesney's first album 'In My Wildest Dreams' was released in 1994. Some
of the songs from the album became instant hits and the album sold over
10,000 copies. His first major success came with his third album named
'Me and You' which was released in 1996. This was his first
gold-certified album which also had a couple of singles that reached #2
on the Billboard.
The
country music artist also has gone on a number of tours the last one
